Procrastinators Anonymous

Have you ever hear of a group called Procrastinators Anonymous?  Neither have many of us.  We're all for organizing such a club, however.  Why?

Well, most of us have good intentions about food storage, but we keep looking for a more propitious time.

Is there really such a thing as "more propitious time"?  Let's see.

January is just after Christmas, so of course we have no money- to buy food storage then.  And we're still trying to catch up in February, to say nothing of taxes and license on the car.

March and April are income tax months.  No chance here to begin.  We start saving for that vacation during May and June, so those months are out.  In July and August it's just too hot to worry about storage anyway.

In September its saving money for kid's clothes for school.  October is recuperating from that ordeal.

November and December are property tax time and Christmas.  No possibility during those months, naturally.

If these reasons weren't enough, we throw in for good measure Easter, Mother's Day, Aunt Matilda's birthday present, etc.

So it goes. One month is just as bad as the rest.  Just as bad, that is, for those looking for excuses.

What, then, is the "most propitious time"?  NOW, of course.  There is always a way if we try, always an excuse if we're looking for one.
