A sequel to "How to Hug a Porcupine", this book by
Dr. Lund teaches us how to cope with uninvited and unwarranted criticism
which often causes us to feel alienated and angry. At some point in our life
ALL of us are in positions where we either have to give criticism or receive
criticism. Maybe its decorated with the term "counsel", but the affect can
be the same if the method of delivery is antagonistic and Dr. Lund is
magnificent at instructing how to handle this difficult situation. He
presents that avoiding criticism is the "living" of a higher law, and
through prayer and love unfeigned we can become perfected in this. But since
most of us cannot yet live that higher law, we need to learn the giving of
appropriate criticism, how to receive any criticism and what to do with
toxic personalities which offend our spirit.
This is NOT a "self help" book............instead it is a
manual for life and how to live it with peace! I highly recommend this book.
