10 Things I've Learned From A Pregnant Woman

1. No subject is sacred. A protruding belly inspires people to ignore social norms that otherwise guide appropriate topics of conversation.
2. Sometimes you've just gotta have rice, catsup, and an egg all mixed together with fried bananas on the side.
3. The fact that orange juice makes you vomit is not motivation enough to quit drinking it.
4. A ten minute pause to throw up should not be expected to diminish the mood of a romantic moment.
5. You can never hear too many good breastfeeding stories.
6. The first thing people are inclined to tell you when they notice you're pregnant is the gory account of the most complicated pregnancy they've ever heard of or experienced (or seen on the Fox Network.)
7. We shouldn't take for granted the ability to sleep on our back or stomach.
8. Although generally accepted personal distance is normally 2 to feet, complete strangers are certain they are allowed to touch your belly if you are pregnant.
9. Babies are expensive. Even before they're born.
10. If it's little, it's cute
