by: Katie Amos

1. We have a really nice park near by and when the weather is nice we go there and walk the trail.  It is fun to talk and laugh and also we get a little exercise in too.

2. My Hubby and I like to go to a store or the mall and walk around.  It is free and we look at everything.  We have been doing this since we have been dating, don't ask me why.

3. Go on a picnic one day for his lunch hour and when the kids are in school.

4. My husband and I do this one the most, put the kids to bed early and watch movie snuggle on the couch.

5. Go to the library for a talk or some libraries have a free family movie night.  Libraries have lots of activities that are free of charge and maybe there will be one that will start you and your hubby out on a new hobby together.

6. In our town there is a park band and all of their concerts are free.  In the winter they have them in the local high school.  It is lots of fun.

7. Just for fun, on a Saturday, go to the different model homes in your area it is free to look and a great place to get ideas to decorate your home.  Then sit down later and plan out your dream home.

8. See if there is a nature center in your area.  My husband and I like to go to their different seminars and often they have star gazing parties they are free and it is interesting to learn about the different stars.

9. Every once and a while our church will have activities for couple and we make it a plan to go to those because it is always "free" (sometimes it is a pitch in) and there is usually food of some kind.

10. Make up a scavenger hunt list of just crazy items before you leave the house and then go to one location and see how many you can find.
