1. Evaluate
Make a list of things you would
like to know, qualities and abilities that you would like to possess, and
things that you want to have happen in your life now and in the future. It
may take you several days to make this list. Think BIG...think in terms of
eternity! The steps of prayer, meditation, and seeking instructions from
leaders and patriarchal blessings apply to this step of evaluating.
2. Plan What You Want To Do
and
When
Once you have decided on a goal
or goals you want to achieve, write them down. It is said that a goal
unwritten is only a wish. As you write your goals, be specific. As part of
your plan, you need to set a time line. Make it realistic, but just tight
enough to allow room for you to stretch yourself.
3. Act On Your Plan
If the goal is something you
can do alone, DO IT. If it is a family goal, be sure to sustain support
and encourage all family members in achieving the goal.
