Recycled Pringles Cans

Contributed by our Readers

I reuse the can for picnics, cookies (which get broken in zip lock bags) fit beautifully in the can and are never broken. Great at the beach, hiking etc.
P.S. I do wash and dry the cans out with a little dishwashing liquid.  They will hold up to this.

Also I use empty Pringles cans to hold clay pots or similar items when I want to paint them.  Just set the pot upside down over the can, then you can paint it and turn it without actually touching the pot.

I have used the other company's "Pringles can" (Lay's) to store scissors and other craft items in.  This is especially nice when planning a group craft project for kids.  They can decorate the can and then keep the project supplies in them.

My son's kindergarten teacher had her students use Pringles containers to put notices in that she was sending home and also parents could use them to send notes to her. Every day the children would bring their container out with them during snack time and it was her chance to take care of notices and notes. Every night I would also check to see if there was anything for me. It worked perfectly because I could always find the notice (it wasn't lost somewhere in the bottom of his backpack) and it wasn't squished or wrecked.  Some children even got pretty creative in the decorating of the outside of the container.

By: Shiloah Baker
I am a very sentimental and nostalgic person and love to hang on to certain outfits that my children have worn.  Outfits that remind me of them and the growing years, outfits that were worn for a special event such as blessings or baptisms.  I began to ponder ideas on how to display or save these outfits for .
