Sheets can be cut up and used for bandages, patterns, and linings.  They can also be used as facings for sewing.  They can also be used in patchwork quilts.

Old blankets can be used for lining quilts.  Blanket scraps can be used for quilts or patchwork shirts and mending.

Towels can be used as rags, or cut up and used as washcloths. Towels can also be used as linings in sewing items such as casserole covers.
