Quick Living Room Pick Ups

The best way to keep your living room pick up is to head it off from the start. You can use baskets, plastic drawers, totes at the entry way of your home. Each person in the family has one. Have fun with the tote and put their name on it and their favorite things in life on the front. This is for snow boots, scarves, mittens etc for that family member that way its not all over the house and your not trying to find it every morning. It takes practice and time to get in the habit but persistence does pay off in the end.

Ever loose your remote? A lot of us have more then one now a days, so get a small basket to put them in and again it takes practice to have your family put them in the basket but the pay off is always knowing where  the remote is when you need it.

What about picking up before bed? Guess what? It works, but do not do it alone. Before your children or husband go to bed have them help you take their stuff and put it back where it belongs just before saying good night to them. The best part is that many hands make the work go fast and in the morning your have a picked up house.
