Take a pair of old
jeans that are still not too faded and use them to make Christmas stockings. My
mom made some years ago that were too cute. Just use the legs to cut out the
main stocking. Cut an inside lining out of printed fabric of your choice. Sew
it together and fold the inside lining down. Put on a jeans pocket and any
other decoration you want on the front.

Make a picnic quilt
Jean Backpack
Take your jeans and cut them off two inches below
the crotch. Turn them inside out and sew. Sew over the first stitches once
more for strength. Take a cool bandanna or scarf and thread through belt
loops to make a drawstring closure. Cut strips off the unused portion of jean
and make straps. Enjoy!

We turn our old jeans into quilts.
It's amazing how warm they are and how cheep they are to make. They also turn
out really cute. We use pockets, zippers, and sew the seam out ward to make fray
details.

When
my kids grow out of their jeans I save them and cut off the legs for shorts in
the summer.
