  • 1 box toaster waffles
  • vanilla ice cream
  • marshmallows
  • chocolate syrup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place 4-6 waffles on a cookie sheet. Put a rounded scoop of vanilla ice cream on the center of a toaster waffle. Fully and completely cover with marshmallows. Put in the oven. Watch very carefully and pull them out as soon as the tops of the marshmallows are lightly browned.
Eat immediately!!! Top with chocolate syrup.

Cupcake Cones

You will need:
  • vanilla cake mix
  • 24 cake cones
  • icing

Make the cake according to package directions. Pour into cake cones. Cook according to cupcake directions on package.
Allow to cool, then top with frosting.

Easy Sorbet

You will need:
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries (pre-frozen)
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries (pre-frozen)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup frozen pineapple-orange-banana juice concentrate (Twister) or citrus beverage concentrate
  • Sugar cones

Freeze berries in a single layer on a baking sheet. When frozen put berries in a freezer container or plastic bag and seal.
*They are good for 12 months in a frozen state.
In a large bowl combine the frozen berries, water and frozen concentrate. Place half of the mixture in a food processor bowl. Cover and repeat with remaining mixture. Serve immediately. Use within 2 days. Scoop frozen mixture into cones, if desired.
Makes 6-8 servings.

Heart Happy Treats

You will need:
  • stick pretzels
  • cubes of cheddar cheese (or whatever you choose)
  • whole strawberries

Put the cheese and strawberries on the the pretzels in as if they were "Skewers".
Viola! A healthy treat!

Deep Blue Sea Pops

2 cups sugar
2 cups milk
2 cups half and half
1 cup lemon juice
12 drops blue liquid food coloring
Bite-sized fish-shaped fruit snacks

Combine 1st 5 ingredients. Spoon mixture into paper cups or popsicle molds. Drop snacks into each cup or mold.
Freeze 1 hour.
Insert a wooden popsicle stick into each paper cup; freeze until firm. For molds, insert base of mold into the pops immediately. Freeze until firm.

Hard Cinnamon Candy

2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cinnamon oil
1/2 tsp. red food coloring

In a large heavy saucepan, combine sugar, water and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cover and cook for 3 minutes.   Uncover and cook over medium-high heat, without stirring, until a candy thermometer reads 310* (hard crack stage).

Remove from the heat; stir in oil and food coloring, keeping face away from mixture as the odor will be very strong. Immediately pour onto a greased baking sheet. Quickly spread into a 13x9 inch rectangle. Using a sharp knife, score into 1 inch squares. Precut rectangle along scored lines until candy is cut into squares.

Let stand at room temperature until dry. Separate into squares, using a knife if necessary. Makes about 1 pound.   Cinnamon oil can be found in some pharmacies or at kitchen and cake decorating supply stores.
