Spoon Family Chart
Get a 2x4 block of
wood about 1 foot long. Paint whatever color you wish. Then drill
holes enough for each family member and large enough to fit a
wooden spoon. Have something for each family member to paint on
the block...such as: balls for games, book for lesson, scriptures
for scriptures, and so forth! Make sure that there are enough
things to do for each family member to have one. Paint these in
the front of the block.
Then have a family
night to decorate the spoons. Have yarn for hair, paints for the
faces and ribbons and such to decorate the "necks".
Place the spoons in
the slots. Everything FHE night after you are done, rotate the
spoons once. The kids will always know what they are doing next!
-Shiloah Baker
I have a wooden house
(the flat kind that hangs on the wall) and I painted it to look
like our house and I have little people (Wal-Mart in the craft
section) and I painted those to look like our family. Each
room is a different assignment for the evening and I used
miniatures in the rooms.
