My children were really having a problem with tattling. We started "Tattle Tuesday" and it really helped. When my children wanted to tattle about something I would ask them-is it Tuesday? If it wasn't they had to "save" it for Tuesday and then they could tell me. Of course, as you know, by Tuesday they had forgotten. It made things so much nicer in our home.
