A method
worth trying on those stubborn marks and smudges on walls, is to use a simple
pencil eraser dipped in a good cleaning detergent solution and erase the mark.
Keep the eraser moist.
To polish
brass, rub with a cut lemon, rinse with warm water.
To polish
copper, wet utensil, sprinkle generously with salt. Rub with warm water.
Gum can be
dissolved and removed from hair and clothing by rubbing with butter or peanut
butter.
Always
dilute liquid bleach many times proportionately before adding to wash and never
pour it directly on fabrics as it weakens the fibers.
