Time Saving Cleaning

One way to use time is, when you know you have a big job to do, break it into 1/2 hour chunks. Tell yourself you'll do a half-hour's worth today, no more. Then set the alarm clock, telling yourself you'll quit when it rings. Maybe you will, for you can, with honor. If you don't quit...if you figure that now you've started, you might as well finish, well and good. You've fooled yourself into getting the thing done.

Gum can be dissolved and removed from hair and clothing by rubbing with butter or peanut butter.

Always dilute liquid bleach many times proportionately before adding to wash and never pour it directly on fabrics as it weakens the fibers.

If the dryer stops and aren't right there, soak a wash cloth and add it to the clothes for five minutes more, and remove articles immediately to avoid wrinkles.

You can take crayon off walls with a bit of toothpaste.

Ball point ink on walls can be removed by rubbing with lemon juice and salt.

Wash walls from the floor up to avoid streaking.
