Homemade Macaroni With A Twist

by: Sarah Leonard

This is a recipe for a very tasty macaroni cheese with a twist. It is very easy to make and I haven't met anybody who hasn't liked it.

INGREDIENTS
Half a bag of quick cook macaroni
Large tin of tomato soup
300 grams of hard cheese, grated. (about half a block)

METHOD
Cook the macaroni in boiling water for required time.

When cooked, drain away water and add tomato soup to macaroni, heat until hot.

Now add the grated cheese of your choice, and heat gently until all the cheese has melted.

And that is that!!! My 3 children love it and it tastes great served hot or cold. It can be kept in sealed container in fridge for a couple of days and is fantastic for children to take in their packed lunch to school.

Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and add the pasta. Simmer over medium heat until the pasta is cooked, about 15-20 minutes.
Serve with bread and salad. This rarely if ever gets wasted at our house! It's WONDERFUL on a wet, cold day!more
