Homemade Cereals

 

 

Granola

2 Cups granola
3/4 cups chopped pecans
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
3 1/2 can flaked coconut
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 t. ground cinnamon
1 t. salt
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/4. c. vegetable oil
2 cups dried fruit
 
Combine all ingredients except dried fruit. Mix and pour onto a 13x9 pan covered in tinfoil.  Bake at 350 for 1 hour turning mix around every 15 minutes. When done add fruit and cool completely.  Store in airtight container.  Should stay fresh for about 4 weeks.

Like Bisquick, but made with wheat!  Includes a recipe.  Sift dry ingredients twice. Cut in shortening. Store in covered 1 gallon container.  Keep in refrigerator.
