Chicken Pockets

By: Penni Hold

These are fantastic hot, warm or lukewarm and people will die for these. I got this recipe on my mission from Bonnie Madsen (President Benson's daughter). It's a favorite for my family.

Take 4 skinless boneless chicken breast-cooked
1 bar of cream cheese
4 green onions, chopped
half stick butter
can of mushrooms
salt and pepper to your desired taste

Mix all together into a paste.  Take one or two tubes of crescent rolls dough,  flatten out each one and scoop about 1/3 cup of the mix into the dough and seal up into an enclosed pocket. Dip top in melted butter and bread crumbs and put on baking sheet with seem down. Bake 350 for 40 mins.

Beth's Homemade Chicken Soup
By: Bethany Menard
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and add the pasta. Simmer over medium heat until the pasta is cooked, about 15-20 minutes.
Serve with bread and salad. This rarely if ever gets wasted at our house! It's WONDERFUL on a wet, cold day!   more
